Phd Linguistics
Hi! I’m a PostDoc researcher and lecturer at Goethe-University Frankfurt. My research interests include (but are not limited to) syntax, semantics, language change (mostly syntax-related), language contact and animal linguistics.
For my phd, I worked on the diachronic development and internal structure of the was für-question in Germanic, Baltic and Slavic languages.
I am currently working with Nelli Kerezova (Goethe-University) on a collaborative research project on language change in Low German varieties, with a particular focus on Plautdietsch. Our research explores how language contact shapes grammatical systems over time, especially in the domain of morphosyntax.
